Melt

The First painting I did at my Wimbledon Art Studio, melt is a scenic abstract painting using metallic and acrylic paint. It is layered on a canvas I hand Stretched on a stretcher I constructed years ago. I wanted to hide figures within this painting, they are subtle and abstracted along with the thick paint, however their general silhouettes stand in the centre frame. As it was one my first paintings, I wanted to just get stuck in and start my studio off in a free and experimental way, the process was messy but certainly fun and what I needed to get properly started,
